Cerebral Palsy – A helpful guide to provide answers and assistance to parents of a child with cerebral palsy.
Cerebral Palsy Guide – A national support organization dedicated to educating individuals and families about cerebral palsy.
Cord Blood Bank – provides information about Cord Blood Registry and advancing the clinical application of newborn cord blood and tissue stem cells in FDA-regulated clinical trials for conditions that have no cure today.
Cord Blood Guide – a guide to cord blood banking and the importance of cord blood in disease treatment.
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Franklin County – CASA of Franklin County’s mission is to provide a powerful and consistent voice in court for the innocent child victims of abuse and neglect.
Easter Seals Central and Southeast Ohio, Inc – Easterseals’ purpose is to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day.
Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities – A county agency and strong Heinzerling partner that provides supports to children and adults who have developmental disabilities. Services are provided to residents of Franklin County, Ohio, including residents living in Heinzerling Communities.
Franklin County Children Services – A county agency whose mission is “Protecting Children by Strengthening Families”.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital – a leading pediatric care facility and research institute in Columbus, Ohio. Numerous professionals consult and treat individuals living at Heinzerling facilities.
Ohio Department of Job and Family Services – a State agency that provides a wide array of assistance and information
Ohio Provider Resource Association – As a statewide association of service providers including Heinzerling Community, OPRA is a leader in efforts to collaboratively build a statewide service system that meets the needs of its ultimate customers: Ohioans with developmental disabilities.
Ohio SIBS (Special Initiatives by Brothers & Sisters) – Ohio SIBS provides advocacy, education, leadership and supports that promote enhanced quality of life, improved public policy and increased services and supports for adult siblings of people with developmental disabilities and their families.
The Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities – Supports County Boards of Developmental Disabilities in providing services and supports to people with developmental disabilities in the State of Ohio.
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities – DODD oversees a statewide system of supports and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families. DODD develops services that ensure an individual’s health and safety, encourage participation in the community, increase opportunities for meaningful employment, and provide residential services and support from early childhood through adulthood. DODD regulates and issues licenses to Heinzerling facilities and other Ohio providers of services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council – The Ohio DD Council is one of a national network of state councils committed to self-determination and community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities.
The Ohio State University Nisonger Center – A University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities that develops and provides the highest quality interdisciplinary care, education, and research to support the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life.
United Way of Central Ohio – If the organization where you work participates in a United Way fund campaign, you can designate your contribution to support Heinzerling Community.
